Frequently Asked Questions
Is there an onsite restaurant at Mountain Springs Lodge?
While we do not operate a full-time, public-facing restaurant daily, our onsite culinary team provides delicious, freshly prepared meals for pre-arranged hosted events, group retreats, and weddings! We also offer specialty dining experiences during select seasonal activities—such as our Music at the Mountain dinners, Mountain Market lunches, Winter season lunches and Sleigh Ride Dinners. For snacks and espresso, stop by our reception area!
Do you provide plates, bowls, glassware, and flatware in the kitchens of the cabins & lodges?
Yes! All cabins and lodges that are equipped with full kitchens come fully stocked with dinnerware—including plates, bowls, glassware, and flatware—as well as cookware. You’ll have everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals with family and friends in the comfort of your cabin. Our front desk is happy to provide complete kitchen inventory list upon request.
The Beaver Creek Lodge Suites and Log Cabin provide a wet bar with small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker.
What activities are available on property throughout the year?
Mountain Springs Lodge is a year-round destination for outdoor adventure!
Summer & Fall: Soar through the treetops with Leavenworth Ziplines, located right on Mountain Springs property. Wild at Heart Horseback Rides offers guided tours starting at Mountain Springs Lodge and Family Lines Fly Fishing Academy provides fly fishing lessons at our rainbow-trout stocked ponds. Onsite hiking, jogging and walking trails, volleyball, ping pong, horseshoes, and a heated outdoor pool provide days of activity and fun for our guests.
Winter: Partake in our wonderland with guided Snowmobile Tours or take a horse-drawn Sleigh Ride through the snow-covered fields and forests. Plain Valley Ski Trails passes through Mountain Springs property, offering 25 k of pristine skate and classic tracks with incredible views and scenery.
We strongly recommend booking your activities in advance, as tour slots fill up quickly during peak seasons!
Can we host weddings, family reunions, or corporate retreats at the Lodge?
Absolutely. Creating space for loved ones and groups to gather, reconnect, and build lasting memories is at the heart of what we do. We offer custom, full-service hosting for intimate or large weddings, large family reunions, and executive corporate retreats, complete with versatile event spaces, lodging, catering, and team-building activities.
How far is Mountain Springs Lodge from downtown Leavenworth?
We are located in the pristine Beaver Valley, 14 miles from the heart of downtown Leavenworth. Our location offers guests the perfect balance: convenient access to the town’s iconic Bavarian shops and festivals, paired with a quiet, secluded mountain retreat to relax in at the end of the day.
What check-in and check-out times should we plan for?
Standard check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM. If you anticipate arriving late in the evening or would like to inquire about early arrival or late departure availability, please reach out to our front desk team prior to your stay.
What amenities are included with our stay?
Depending on the cabin or suite you select, guests enjoy features such as private hot tubs, cozy stone fireplaces, outdoor BBQ grills, expansive outdoor decks with Cascade Mountain views, and access to our scenic grounds and walking trails.
Are dogs allowed at Mountain Springs Lodge?
We are happy to host your furry family! Specifically, the Alpine Cabin, Aspen Cabin, and Log Cabin are dog-friendly cabins at $25/day.
Is there transport to and from Leavenworth?
We do not operate a direct shuttle service, so we recommend guests travel in their own vehicles or arrange private local shuttles/taxis in advance. During the snowy winter months, we strongly encourage 4WD or AWD vehicles with good traction tires for mountain travel.
Do you allow other staying guests, or do you only host weddings?
We warmly welcome all guests! While we are a premier Pacific Northwest venue for weddings, family reunions, and executive corporate retreats, our individual cabins, suites, and seasonal outdoor activities are perfect for individual leisure travelers, couples, and families seeking a mountain getaway.
When do Zipline bookings open?
Our Zipline Tours operate during the warmer spring, summer, and fall months. Online reservations typically open April 1. Because tour slots fill up quickly during peak summer weekends, we highly recommend booking reservations online well in advance!
When can I book my sleigh ride or snowmobile tour?
Winter activity bookings open November 1st. Sleigh rides and guided snowmobile tours generally run from December through March (please note, activities are closed Christmas Day), weather and snow-conditions permitting. We recommend booking early—especially if you would like to make reservations during the Christmas season.
