Kahler Glen has several kilometers of privately groomed cross-country ski trails. Our trails also connect to the Lake Wenatchee trail system for a total of over 30 kilometers. For the more advanced skiers, try heading out on the Nason Ridge trail for some spectacular views of the surrounding area. If you’re looking for a more relaxing experience, just stick to the groomed trails on the golf course for intermediate trails, as well as 2 groomed sledding hills. We are located just 25 minutes from Steven’s Pass and about an hour from Mission Ridge. Kahler Glen does rent out condos and you can literally ski right out your back door!

Lake Wenatchee State Park is a 489-acre camping park with 12,623 feet of waterfront on glacier-fed Lake Wenatchee and the Wenatchee River. The park is bisected by the Wenatchee River, creating two distinct areas – south park, which features areas for camping, swimming and horseback riding, and north park, which is in a less developed, forested section of the park and a quarter-mile walk from the lake. The park is a natural wildlife area, and visitors should be aware of the presence of bears and other natural dangers. A concessionaire offers guided horse rides on more than five miles of trail in and around the forested park. Year-round recreation opportunities abound, including swimming, boating and hiking in the summer and cross-country skiing, snowplaying, showshoeing and sledding in the winter.

We are located between Stevens Pass & Leavenworth in the beautiful Plain Valley. We have a new office with plenty of private parking and heated indoor ammenities such as restrooms, hot coffee and cider. We offer a relaxed environment allowing you to meet our dogs, take pictures and interact with our mushers. Tours range from 20 minutes to 2 hours with possible overnight packages as well. From their eagerness at hook up time, to their determination on the trail, you'll understand how much these dogs love what they do.

Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum is a museum dedicated to nutcrackers, located in Leavenworth, Washington. Founded by Arlene Wagner and her husband George in 1995, the museum housed over 6,000 nutcrackers in 2010.

Founded in 1939 by the Columbia River Archaeological Society, the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center showcases local and regional history, natural sciences and the arts.

The Washington State Apple Advertising Commission was created by an act of the Washington State Legislature in 1937 at the request of the apple industry, making it one of the oldest and largest commodity commissions in the United States. Under statutory authority, the Commission collects a mandatory assessment levied against all fresh apple shipments. No revenues are received from apples diverted to apple processors for juice, sauce, etc.
